Bass Classes

Are you new to the Bass? Do you have a little experience playing and are still building core foundational skills like learning the string names and numbers, how to tune with an electronic tuner, and the musical note names and rhythms? In this class you will learn some sweet simple single string bass lines and riffs, how to read and play a song using tablature, what the note names are in the open position, and how to play along together with a group. Students can expect to spend, on average, up to four terms in a Roots level class before moving on to the more intermediate Rockers level.
Prerequisite: 13–18 years
