Want to Give the Gift of Music?
Your support helps the Youth Music Project (YMP) provide access to high-quality rock, country, and pop music lessons for all children and youth.
Whether they play drums, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, or sing, YMP students are enriching their lives by creating music as a form of expression, and they’re having fun! What’s more, according to NPR, the arts help create young adults who have better academic performance, are more civically engaged, and exhibit higher career goals. Those are pretty amazing outcomes we can give today’s youngest generation.
Music truly can transform lives, especially for at-risk students.
At YMP, we believe all children and youth should have access to music education and that cost should never stand in the way.
We price our lessons and instrument rentals at rates that are affordable for most middle-income families, and we are committed to providing scholarships for at least 50% of students based on household income. We couldn’t do it without you.
Your tax-deductible gift will provide K-12 students with high-quality music lessons and instrument rentals, ensuring every child has the opportunity to play music and sing. Whether or not they become music superstars, every child at YMP can aspire to greatness in and out of school, thanks to you.
