  • About Haley

With a background in music study and entertainment, Haley is proud to be at Youth Music Project fostering a lifelong passion for the arts. A graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, she studied Film Theory and Sociology as a means of interpreting performance on screen, on stage, and in life. Musicals, and musical theater, are her specialty and favorite pursuit!

Haley has been singing and playing instruments since a young age — she first picked up the trombone when it was taller than she was! From choirs to marching band, stage shows to drumline, Haley knows how to perform and teach mandolin, ukulele, piano, and percussion, in addition to ensemble and solo vocals.

She strongly believes that music education is for everyone, regardless of age, ability, and accessibility. Whether you’re here for one lesson or 100, Haley strives to help you find talent, curiosity, and creativity within music, and within yourself.

Some of Haley’s favorite musicals include Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, and Waitress, and her influences include Celine Dion, The Carpenters, Shania Twain, and the irrefutable Britney Spears. Outside of playing music, you can most often find her crafting, reading, teaching Jazzercise, and disco dancing!
