    She/Her

Michael joined the Youth Music Project team in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience and a lifelong love of the arts to the role. Michael graduated with her Bachelor’s in Art (Drawing) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, before moving across the pond to earn her Masters with Distinction in Art History & Visual Culture at Richmond, the American International University in London. She has served in the nonprofit arts sector in numerous capacities including museum educator, exhibit curator, and marketing professional.

Michael is an outspoken advocate for the Disabled and Chronically Ill, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC communities. She is the Public Relations Officer for Columbia Red Branch—a nonprofit sporting club dedicated to preserving Irish games and culture in the PNW—and also volunteers her time with Dysautonomia International.

  • When not passionately pursuing her work, Michael loves to make spooky crafts and costumes, binge-watch old seasons of Survivor with her husband, play tabletop games, listen to and create podcasts, and voraciously read horror and SFF novels. She has visited over a dozen countries, and can’t wait for her next adventure.
