Our Mission

Youth Music Project’s mission is to provide outstanding rock, pop, and country music education for youth by offering tuition assistance, instrument rental, and exceptional, state-of-the-art performance opportunities!

Youth Music Project was founded on two beliefs: music is essential to child development, and all children deserve access to quality musical experiences. We’re not just a music school; at the heart of our organization is the desire to build capable, confident, and creative young students.

A PEEK AT OUR Offerings

At Youth Music Project, we offer a range of programs designed to meet students at every stage of their musical journey. Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your skills, there’s something here for everyone to explore, create, and grow.

Classes, lessons,
& summer camps

Whether your student is picking up an instrument for the first time or continuing to grow their skills, our group classes and private lessons are designed to meet them where they are.

Our week-long summer camps offer participants ages 6-18 the chance to explore music of all kinds—from rock and pop to mariachi and metal—in a fun, hands-on way.

"The instructors are consistently kind, supportive, inclusive, and full of positive energy. Their ability to bond with my child and help them feel supported and motivated to succeed is wonderful. This semester my child has had the opportunity to work with an instructor, who just emanates exactly the qualities I look for in a role model for my kids. I so appreciate him being a part of my kid's life this term!” - YMP Parent

STUDENTS SINCE 2012

  • "We loved the quality of the music instructors, the staff, and the interns. What a great group of people!" — YMP Parent

  • “YMP has been a really big part of my life and it’s brought me so far with how I am as a musician and how I make connections with other people” — YMP Student

  • "I love that YMP is a judgment free zone. You can do whatever you want, you can like whatever music you want, there’s always something for everyone here” — YMP Student

  • "My child is on the outside looking in on a lot of groups, and this is a place that he’s found a home. Music has given him an opportunity to open up and blossom in ways that he wouldn’t be able to otherwise.” — YMP Parent

  • “The first time that I got up on stage, it was really nerve-wracking for me. Since I have ADHD, it’s a big thing for me to want to walk up on stage and perform. I think the hardest thing for me was just to be up there and perform since there are a bunch of people you don’t know, but it’s also a really comforting place to be when you’re performing here at YMP." — YMP Student

Music is powerful in mysterious ways, including its magical ability to captivate the body, illuminate the mind, inspire the spirit, and bring people together in a way nothing else does. It has profound impacts on musicians, listeners, and the community at large.

Please join us in making music accessible to ALL kids!
