Kendell McCrary was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and grew up playing piano and singing with her mom. She has performed around Portland with Pop, R&B, Soul, Americana, and Country artists, and most recently sang at Carnegie Hall and toured Southeast Asia with the choirs at Portland State University. Kendell graduated with an Associate of Music from MHCC and is currently a Music Education student at PSU and co-president of the PSU Chamber Choir. She teaches voice and piano at Youth Music Project and plans to seek further education in conducting in pursuit of a career teaching high school choir. When she’s not teaching at YMP, she loves to crochet, embroider, cuddle with her dogs, and watch the sunset at Mt. Tabor.
