Rachel Musgrove | Instructor Bio

Rachel was born and raised in the Portland, OR area. She became involved with music from a young age through piano lessons, choir, and musical theater.

Rachel holds a BA in Anthropology from Willamette University and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She loves finding creative ways to combine her passions for foreign language, music, and early childhood teaching.

Currently, Rachel teaches piano and voice at YMP. Her other recent musical endeavors include playing synth for the pit orchestra in local theater productions and singing with a radwave dance-rock band. Rachel also has two cats and loves to hike.
