About michael

Michael joined the Youth Music Project team in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience and a lifelong love of the arts to the role. Michael graduated with her BA in Art (Drawing) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, before moving across the pond to earn her MA in Art History & Visual Culture at Richmond, the American International University in London. She has served in the nonprofit arts sector in numerous capacities including museum educator, exhibit curator, and marketing professional. 

Michael is an outspoken advocate for the Disabled/Chronically Ill, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC communities. When not passionately pursuing her work, she loves to make spooky crafts and costumes, binge-watch Survivor, play tabletop games, land voraciously read horror and SFF novels. She has visited over a dozen countries, and can’t wait for her next adventure.
