What is Youth Music Project doing to limit the spread of COVID-19?

  • All students and staff are screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms
  • Any student or staff who fails the daily health screening will be excluded from activities.
  • Beginning Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the opening of business, mask usage at Youth Music Project will be encouraged, but no longer required in its facility. While mask usage will be encouraged, we will honor and respect individual students, families, and staff choices to wear or not to wear masks while at Youth Music Project.
  • Our facility is cleaned daily by a professional janitorial service
  • The building ventilation system undergoes routine maintenance and is outfitted with MERV-13 air filters
  • Each classroom utilizes an additional stand-alone air purification unit
  • Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 should isolate for at least 5 days. Isolation may end after 5 full days if the individual is fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and other symptoms have improved. Individuals are strongly encouraged to wear a well-fitting mask around others at home and in public for 5 additional days (day 6- through 10) after the end of the 5-day isolation period.
  • Youth Music Project will continue to provide exposure notifications when possible
